Anderson Medal

The Anderson Medal, first awarded in 1949, is presented to the Best & Fairest Player in the NHRU 1st Grade Competition.

The Medal is named after the late Evan James “Tuney” Anderson. Anderson was a pioneer of Rugby in the Newcastle district and was made a Life Member of the NHRU in 1941.
