We head into Round 16 of the 2016 Rams Premier Rugby Premiership this weekend with only another 2 rounds to go until the 2016 Final Series gets underway. Week 2 of the 2016 Rams Divisional Finals Series kicks off this weekend. The Divisional team lists can be found via this LINK.

The Viatek Anderson Medal is now ‘in camera’ with 3 rounds to go (including this weekend) of the 2016 Minor Premiership. It will be a tight tussle to the end with Michael Delore (Southern Beaches) and Jay Strachan (Merewether Carlton) polling votes last round and ‘choking up’ the top of the leader board.

This week’s Premier round 16 fixtures contains the must win games for Southern Beaches, Maitland and The Waratahs to continue their finals run…

Rd 16 Fixtures

We are also coming to the business end of The Premier Club Championship. The Wanderers v Hamilton fixtures this weekend will be intriguing with only an 8 point difference between these 2 Premier Clubs. Merewether Carlton are only 33 points back from Hamilton and will be looking to chase hard over the next 2 rounds against Newcastle University this week and Hamilton next week. This week’s and next week’s results should determine the Premier Rugby Club Championship for the 2016 season.

The Premier 1 leading point scorers table is also proving a close run home with last year’s winner Dane Sherratt (The Waratahs) narrowly leading Josh McCormack (Maitland) and Luke Simmons (Wanderers).
